1. The national minimum wage is reviewed every year and from 1st October 2011 the hourly rates are  
£6.08 for adults aged 21 and over, £4.98 for 18-20 year olds, £3.68 for 16-17 year olds, and      
£2.60 for apprectices who are either under 19 or in the first year of their apprentiship. For more

2. Real Time Information (RTI) is being introduced to improve the operation of PAYE. Between              
April 2013 and October 2013 employers will begin to use RTI and all employers will be using

3. For new businesses that start up between 22 June 2010 and 5 September 2013 you may be able to  
apply to HMRC for the Regional employer NICs holiday scheme and save up to £50,000 in
